Western Carolina native and writer Andrew Clark will be returning to City Lights Bookstore on Friday, May 1st at 6:30 p.m., and he will be bringing South Carolinian Writer Derek Berry and Japanese Poet Miho Kinnas along for the fun! Clark will be reading from his latest book of poetry, Jesus in the Trailer, a collection of poetry depicting small slices of life in the Southern United States. With subject matter ranging from Mental Health to Coming of Age, there’s a little somethin’ for everyone in this collection of poetry. Derek Berry will be reading from his latest book of poetry, GLITTER HUSK, a poetry chapbook about pleasure, grief, and memory. And finally, Miho Kinnas will be reading from her poetry book, Today, Fish Only, a collection of work that deals with subjects such as learning how to make "home" out of the unfamiliar. Each of these poets will have something for everyone, so all are welcome and encouraged to come on down and listen.
