Owing to the-then recent invention of the printing press, this and many other religious texts gained a wide and swift distribution. Most notably in Martin Luther's case was his translation of the entire Bible from the Latin, which duly acquired an unprecedented audience throughout Europe and beyond.
This edition contains the English translation of Luther's commentary on the Galatians first published in 1949 by Theodore Graebner, who was a Lutheran pastor and Professor of Philosophy at St. Louis university until his death in 1950.
