We’ll host a special Children’s Storytime (but adults can come too!) devoted to the Elk of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on Saturday, August 14th at 11:00 a.m. Patty Davis and Esther Blakely are volunteers with the Park’s “Bugle Corps” that tracks the elk population and educates the public about these majestic animals. They will bring a wealth of “visual aids” to teach children and adults about the elk.
