Children's Book Party at City Lights on May 15th!

Local children’s author Janice Falk will be at City Lights on
Saturday, May 15th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for a special playtime event
for children based on her picture books about Mango the Cat.

Mango is an adventurous orange tabby cat, and there are currently two books in
the series: Mango and the Purrfect Plan and Mango and the Flat Green Cat.
Falk, who lives in Canton, wrote the Mango stories, and Christine Patete, who
is an elementary school art teacher in Asheville, did the colorful
illustrations.

The party at City Lights will give kids the chance to meet the author as well
as play games, including a fishing booth, bean bag toss, and Pin the Tail on
Mango. Refreshments and prizes will be provided! (Parents are asked to
accompany their children.)
