Outdoorsman and author Jim Casada will be at the store on Saturday, July 10th at 7:00 p.m. to read from a selection of outdoor guidebooks, including Beginner's Guide to Fly Fishing, Fly Fishing in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and The Wild Bounty Cookbook.

Casada is also a collector of hunting stories, and he has edited volumes of stories by Jack O'Connor, Richard Ruark, and other legendary sportsmen. 

Casada is also a noted outdoor photogapher and a past president of the Outdoor Writers of America. A retired professor of history, he was born in Bryson City and splits his time between Swain County and Rock Hill, South Carolina.
