About the Author
Born in 1949, Thomas Rain Crowe is a renown poet, editor, translator, and musician. He has worked on everything from Celtic anthologies to Appalachian journals, traveling from his boyhood home of Tuckaseegee, North Carolina to Wales and back again. He currently resides in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina where he continues to publish columns on culture and the environment for the Smoky Mountain News.
